Dan Devone is a 5 time Emmy Award winning television sportscaster. A career that spanned 25 years, in New York, San Francisco and Seattle.


Dan is one of the most requested motivational/professional speakers, and a rising star in the industry today!  His talk, entitled 'A Balanced Attack', has effectively resonated with leading global brands around the world. His lively, high energy approach with boundless enthusiasm, accompanied with insightful humorous real life stories through his work experience as a award winning television journalist set him apart. 


Family and close friends refer to him by his middle name O.B. His namesake Father O'Brien, was a Irish priest who worked with Dan's dad in the leper colonies on the island of Molokai in Hawaii. 


As a 5 year old of Hawaiian and Italian descent (Mom is from Hawaii, Father an Italian from New Jersey) Dan would perform for family and friends at dinners and family outings. This unique ability to command the room at a young age was a precursor of things to come.

Dan graduated from the University of Arizona with a major in Journalism and a minor in Radio and Television.


Today Dan works at Skillz, which according to Inc. Magazine is the fastest growing company in America with a  revenue growth of over 50,000 percent, and a revenue run-rate that is currently over $100 million. Dan was an original founder and current equity stakeholder in X2Biosytems, Leading technologies and patent portfolios combine to advance concussion safety. 


When Dan is not traveling the world speaking he can be found in San Francisco spending time with family, bike riding or looking for a parking spot at Whole Foods.
